A traditional Welsh oak coffor bach of good proportions and of attractive, waisted and panelled form.
The detachable lid has a moulded edge and wooden strut hinges, the three small, almost square, fielded panels have moulded edges and sit above a shallow drawer and an undulating frieze, with shaped returns. West Wales, circa 1760-80.
